NFPA 45: Standard on Fire Protection for Laboratories Using Chemicals

NFPA 45 – National Fire Protection Association standard provides basic requirements to protect life and property through prevention and control of fires and explosions involving the use of chemicals in laboratory-scale operations.

The limits and restrictions on the flammable and combustible materials that can be stored and used in a laboratory is set by the NPFA 45 standard.
