Maintaining a minimum face velocity is critical for the safety of the lab users.<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t   <\/div><div class=\"boc_list_item  \" >\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"li_icon normal \" style=\"\"><i class=\"icon icon-mail-forward\" style=\"color: #224a98;\"><\/i><\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"boc_list_item_text normal\"><\/p>\n<h3>How is face velocity calculated?<\/h3>\n<p>Face velocity is expressed in units of feet per minute(FPM).<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t   <\/div><div class=\"boc_list_item  \" >\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"li_icon normal \" style=\"\"><i class=\"icon icon-mail-forward\" style=\"color: #224a98;\"><\/i><\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"boc_list_item_text normal\"><\/p>\n<h3>Is there a standard or guideline for face velocity?<\/h3>\n<p>The most authoritative of these published guidelines is the ANSI\/AIHA Z9.5 American National standard for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kewaunee.in\/ventilated-devices.php\">laboratory ventilation<\/a>.<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t   <\/div><div class=\"boc_list_item  \" >\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"li_icon normal \" style=\"\"><i class=\"icon icon-mail-forward\" style=\"color: #224a98;\"><\/i><\/span>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"boc_list_item_text normal\"><\/p>\n<h3>Is there an acceptable limit for face velocity?<\/h3>\n<p>American national standard for laboratory ventilation publication recommends using an average face velocity of between 80 and 120 feet per minute.
