The lab waste has properties or characteristics which make them dangerous and potentially harmful to the people and the environment. The hazardous wastes from the laboratories can be liquids, solids, contained gases, or sludges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unlike common waste, the hazardous waste from labs cannot be disposed of like we do in our everyday lives.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depending on the properties or characteristics of waste, special treatment and solidification process might be required.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The four properties or characteristics of hazardous waste are <\/span><b>Ignitability, Corrosivity, Reactivity, and Toxicity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<table class=\"fortuna_table\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ignitability<\/span><\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A combustible material is something that can burn in air.
